Role Summary KKday is looking for a Design & Social Media Specialist to drive the creative direction and social media strategy across key platforms. In this role, you'll take the lead in crafting thumb-stopping visual content, shaping our brand identity, and growing our presence on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and emerging channels. You'll oversee the end-to-end content production process from concept to design to publishing and play a pivotal role in delivering consistent, high-performing creative that inspires travel. Working closely with marketing, editorial, and regional teams, you will help transform KKday's travel products and blog content into engaging social-first experiences that drive brand love and conversion. This role is ideal for a self-starter with strong creative instincts, social storytelling expertise, and a passion for travel. Key Responsibilities Creative Strategy & Execution Own and evolve the visual brand identity across all digital touchpoints. Lead the design and production of social media assets, including short videos, Reels, carousels, motion graphics, infographics, and display ads. Collaborate with own, earn, and performance teams to produce creative assets that align with campaign goals. Maintain high-quality output while balancing speed and agility in production. Social Media Management Develop and execute a channel-specific content strategy for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts. Plan and publish social content that engages, educates, and entertains aligned with brand voice and marketing calendar. Monitor platform trends, travel hashtags, and viral content to inform content creation. Own the content calendar and work with regional teams to ensure local relevance and consistency. Team & Project Management Manage external designers, freelancers, or agencies when needed. Maintain an organized asset library and ensure brand consistency across regions. Lead brainstorming and creative reviews to drive ideation and alignment. Required Skills And Qualifications 1-2 years of experience in visual design, digital marketing, or social media content creation. Proficient in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar platforms. Proven ability to create high-performing short-form video and static content for social platforms. Strong eye for visual storytelling, layout, typography, and brand consistency. Deep familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and their content formats. Experience in managing content calendars and publishing tools (e.g., Later, Buffer, Sprout Social). Strong project management and communication skills; able to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment. Passion for travel, trends, and destination storytelling. Preferred Qualifications Video editing and motion design experience (e.g., CapCut). Experience growing or managing a brand's social presence in travel, lifestyle, or e-commerce industries.
