As a pricing analyst in Micron, you will be critical to the strategy and execution of our channel business. This role sits withing Micron's CPG pricing organization. The CPG pricing team is responsible for setting and reviewing pricing across Micron's consumer, business, and commercial channels. Your primary responsibility will be to support global channel pricing by aligning customers to current strategy with correct price points. In addition, you will help support our asp planning through the business cycle. Pricing strategy includes execution of various vehicles such as rebates, back-end discounts, and price list tools. Success is achieved by demonstrating product strategy, positioning, product pricing strategy with specific promotions to align to the business plan. Collaboration across sales, marketing, product marketing, quoting teams and finance is critical. Responsibilities Develops, evaluates, and implements pricing strategies and models for asp business planning. Partner with cross functional teams to ensure alignment and success to business plans. Implement worldwide customer specific rebates, promotions, and pricing. Analyzes and reports on current market pricing, trends and share data. Projects impact of pricing changes, individual promotions, and rebate programs on revenue. Creates/administers pricing databases and coordinates implementation of pricing proposals across the organization. Ensures necessary pricing controls and monitors to enable and drive optimum pricing performance to meet business objectives. Support pricing managers with channel wide price points and initiatives Align Model N to correct rebates values and date period. Qualifications 5 years and above of pricing experience with strong data skills preferred. Bachelor's degree in business, accounting or economics is preferred, with a master's degree being a plus. Advanced Excel Skills - Proficiency in using advanced Excel functions such as VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, INDEX, MATCH, and array formulas. Pivot Tables: Expertise in creating and manipulating pivot tables for data analysis. Macros and VBA: Experience in writing and debugging macros using Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) to automate repetitive tasks. Self-motivated with proven ability to work with clear direction. Excellent written and verbal communication (English) skills required. Willingness to work earlier in the day to overlap with US time zone. Consumer experience with instant rebates or promotional vehicles is desired. Experience with Model N, CPQ, and Salesforce is advantageous. Mind set to do what's needed to support the customer and the business.
