specific brand aesthetics to promote various brands, attract shoppers and maximise sales.ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Create and conceptualize visually appealing displays for windows and
store interior. * Work closely with the Operations, Marketing and Merchandising team todevelop and execute merchandise presentation strategy. * In-charge of VM props and material management which includessourcing, ordering and inventory control. * Lead, train and develop the team of Visual Merchandisers on-the-job.
Maintain work schedules for VM team members and oversee their
performance. * Train and develop potential visual support team at outlets to maintainvisual concepts and flex displays based on inventory. * Responsible for the entire visual merchandising process for new retailstores including visual standards, fixture placement, floor setup, window display, fixture design and merchandising presentation concepts. * Regularly assess and keep up-to-date with consumer and fashion trendsin the prevailing market. * Travel periodically outstation for store set-ups, opening and/or closures.ESSENTIAL SKILLS
Degree/diploma in visual communications/graphic design/interior
design/retail management or a related field; * Proven solid work experience as a visual merchandiser;Design expertise with comprehensive portfolio of relevant visual design work; * Good fashion sense;
Creative with keen eyes for aesthetic appeal;
Experienced in using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop,
InDesign) or other visual design tools; * Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
