- Support the Asia GM Office with specific communication needs (planning, production and cascading of both content and events).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive communication plans that align with global and/or local organizational objectives.
- Ensure the organization's messaging is communicated consistently across all channels and stakeholders.
- Produce engaging content (messaging, internal media articles, memos, etc.) for both local and global audiences.
- Update/maintain regional communication tools and plans.
- Monitor and report communication metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of communication initiatives and provide actionable insights for future improvements.
- Animate a network of volunteer Change Agents in Asian countries, to roll out communication and Corporate Responsibility plans locally.
- Define and implement employee engagement activities including organizing and hosting events in Malaysia (source vendors, produce and cascade communication, report on events).
- Manage the communication budget for Asia.
- Position may include occasional international travel.
- Master’s degree in communication, journalism, marketing or related fields.
- Minimum of five years’ experience in a communication or marketing role, preferably in a global or regional organization.
- High level of autonomy and professional maturity.
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills in English, with experience of producing strong content in this language. French would be a great advantage.
- Proven experience in project management and multitasking, with an ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be a team player with a positive attitude and a demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with team members and stakeholders.
- Experience of international/intercultural collaboration would be a plus.
