If you are looking to excel and make a difference, take a closer look at us…This position is a sales role and has responsibilities in Deposits account acquisition from consumers and businesses with opportunity to obtain leads for other products through HLB@Work. The position will explain how products work and the services available, provide sales materials and support, create new leads and follow up with new customers. The sales specialist can work on a wide variety of relevant industries, such as manufacturing, retail, pharmaceutical, to name a few and with focus on payroll accounts.Key Responsibilities and AccountabilitiesFunctional (job responsibilities)Generate and qualify leads from internal and external lists to achieve acquisition goalsSource and develop client referrals to achieve acquisition goalsDevelop sales proposal and customize by clientSchedule sales activity and ensure optimum pipeline generationMake sales calls to new potential and existing clientsNegotiate effectively with clientsConduct briefing and training to clientsRespond to sales enquiries and concerns by phone, electronically or in personEnsure customer service satisfaction and good client relationshipsFollow up on sales activities to ensure sales closure and accounts are open timelyMonitor and report on sales activities and follow up for managementCarry out market research and surveysParticipate in sales events and roadshows where applicableMonitor competitors, market conditions and product developmentEnsure all tasks are carried out in full compliance with guidelines and regulationsManagerial (team/group responsibilities)To collaborate with other departments to create a unified experienceTo create an achievement oriented working environment.Organizational (organizational responsibilities)Responsibility to our ETC customers – put HLB’s long term interest ahead of short term gain.Continuous effort to improve business in support of building brand awareness and improving customer experience.Ensure all sales proposals are delivered on-time and within scopeRequirements:Education/QualificationDiploma, Higher Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field is preferredExperienceMin 3 years in sales experienceExperience in banking products, process and policiesAbout Hong Leong BankWe are a leading financial institution in Malaysia backed by a century of entrepreneurial heritage.
