Job Responsibilities Inspecting of contractor preliminary requirements. To study drawings and specifications and highlight any discrepancies. To attend to inspections and testings carried out by the contractors. Filing, maintaining and inspection of records at site. To check progress reports prior to meetings. Ensure work compliance on method statements and shop drawings. Inspect the materials used and ensure the quality of work being done is in compliance with QLASSIC. To issue site memo, recording for non-compliance and provide recommendations for a solution(s). Sign off inspection, test records and NCR. Assist consultants for the approval/rejection of building materials at site. Coordinate RFI, and liaise with consultants of all disciplines to ensure timely resolution to construction issues and design matters. Monitoring the progress of the works and reporting to the Architect for any delays and issues on site. Measurement for VO work. Record for completion of work. Inspection for closure of defect rectification. Assisting consultants for Final Account preparation. Requirement A Degree or Diploma in Architecture. At least 10 years and above of working experience in a similar capacity. Experienced and familiar with the latest construction methods, materials and procedures as per high-end residential and commercial development projects. Well versed in Malaysian and local building laws, regulations and bylaws. Assertive with initiative and the ability to communicate well. Independent, committed, reliable, proactive and good interpersonal skills. Candidate must be registered with BEM & CIDB. Good command of spoken and written English & Bahasa Malaysia.
