Billplz is a payment platform for organizations to get paid and pay the fastest, at the lowest cost possible. Responsibilities: Lead and manage all accounting operations: billing, AR/AP, GL, bank reconciliations, and month-end close. Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Handle audit, tax, and regulatory submissions (e.g., LHDN, SSM, BNM). Ensure financial accuracy and integrity in high-volume daily transactions and settlements. Collaborate closely with product, operations, and customer support teams on payment and reconciliation matters. Support budget planning, cash flow management, and financial forecasting. Maintain and improve internal controls, workflows, and financial processes. Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and financial institutions when required. Required Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional qualifications such as ACCA or MIA membership are highly preferred. At least 3-5 years of relevant experience , ideally in fintech, banking, or any high-volume transactional environment. Proven experience handling very high daily financial transactions , settlements, and reconciliations. Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Xero, SQL, or similar) and Excel/Google Sheets.
