Job Summary: The IT Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing business requirements and translating them into solution requirements throughout the project life cycle. This role involves conducting elicitation sessions, understanding client objectives, identifying issues and risks, collaborating with teams, producing solution requirement specifications, preparing system prototypes, ensuring accurate project documentation, participating in testing and implementation activities, and providing regular updates to stakeholders. The role may involve managing multiple projects simultaneously. Additionally, the IT Business Analyst is expected to prepare project proposals, conduct presentations with clients, and actively identify opportunities for product improvement. Responsibilities: Conducting elicitation sessions to gather business requirements. Understanding clients' objectives, processes, and products. Identifying issues, risks, and benefits of proposed solutions. Collaborating with business and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements. Producing solution requirement specifications and solution design documents. Creating system prototypes, mockup screens, flow charts, and system workflows. Ensuring accurate and up-to-date project documentation. Participating in the development of test plans, testing, implementation, and training activities. Providing regular updates to stakeholders on project progress, risks, and issues. Conducting presentations with clients to discuss project details and requirements. Identifying opportunities for product improvement and enhancements. Requirements: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field. Good written and communication skills in both Bahasa Malaysia and English. Team-oriented. Familiarity with the palm oil industry is a plus. Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus. Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience (fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
