Malaysia marks the first direct retail investment in Asia through a joint venture partnership with Malaysian owned MST Golf Group of companies, a well-established golf retailer and service provider in the region. Job Description Job Summary: As the Human Resources Manager, you will manage overall HR functions such as manpower budgeting, recruitment, compensation & benefits, performance management, payroll, employees, and industrial relations. To review, formulate, develop and implement HR policies and SOPs to ensure compliance to statutory requirements and to meet business expectations. In your capacity, you will also be overseeing the L&D Department overall functions to equip our people to deliver the job expectations and embrace learning & development environment. Responsibilities : Your responsibilities as the Senior Human Resources Manager will include but not limited to: Talent Acquisition Lead and strategize recruitment plan and activities to ensure effective and successful recruitment. Work closely with strategic business partners ie. Universities/ colleges, Perkeso and other relevant job portals to enlarge talents pool size and young talents identification. Upkeep the Company's employer branding to gain trust and attract external talents. Work closely with Retail Team and stay abreast for Pre-opening recruitment. Performance Management Plan and manage Company's annual performance appraisal exercise, promotions, salary review and bonus payout to ensure performers are rewarded. Monitor and ensure performance management system executed accordingly. Guide and support Managers in PDP & PIP. Industrial Relations To lead and guide the team in handling all matters related to disciplinary actions, grievances, counselling, staff misconducts and provide appropriate actions to be taken. Plan, develop and implement HR policies and procedures covering full spectrum of HR functions. Ensure all people related matters are handled professionally and aligned with Employment Act and Industrial Relations Act of the Country. Compensation & Benefits Develop and implement Company's compensation and benefits policies based on corporate policy and market practices by collecting and update market data. Check, monitor and ensure payroll process and pay out accurately executed and reported. Stay UpToDate with latest market trends on C&B practices to ensure the Company's policies as competitive or better to attract more quality talents. Financial Responsibilities Plan and prepare annual manpower budget align with the Company's business plan. Analyse and monitor manpower cost. Monitor productivity of all departments. Ensure all HR activities budgets are reasonably planned and monitor all expenses closely. Always put cost effectiveness in mind in all expenditures related to people matters. Learning & Development Keep abreast with the latest HR development practices and methods and provide suitable interpretation to directors, managers and staff within the organization. Oversee and monitor Learning & Development functions to ensure structured and effective L&D program and plan executed and upkept. Identify talents within HR department succession planning. Work closely with other HODs to identify talents internally for development & succession plans. Develop and encourage learning and development environment within the organization To align to UK L&D concepts & initiatives as much as possible, after consideration of localisation and suitability. Culture & Behavior Maintain a positive employee relations environment; communicate with respective departmental heads on operational and HR issues, facilitate employee and manager communications and problem solving, assist managers with legal compliance through education and monitoring. Initiate, plan and execute employee engagement activities to encourage healthy organizational behaviour. Consistently encourage and improve overall culture within the organization. Develop and encourage culture that align with Company's values and behaviours. Qualifications Requirement: Candidate must have the following requirement: Tertiary educations in HR Management or equivalent. A minimum of 15 years working experiences as HR generalist and at least 5 years in managerial (department head) capacity, experienced from retail industry is a plus. Strong in both verbal & non-verbal communication skills. Good business writing skills. Proficient in all Microsoft applications. Good time management skills and deadline sensitive. Strong Problem Solving and negotiation skills. A team player with proven leadership skills, positive, service oriented. Well-verse with Employment Act and Industrial Relations Act.
