- Interpret data, analyses results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
- Acquire data from primary data sources and maintain databases or data systems
- Facilitate input and review of Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Mid-Year Plan and monthly forecasts
- Identify, analyses and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Filter and clean data by reviewing reports and correct problems
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
- Assist to create standard / ad-hoc reports, business intelligence tools and dashboards to support management's monitoring of operations
- Conduct comparable analysis and research to validate findings / results/ trends / recommendations
- Work closely with marketing, operations and business teams to identify and drive operational / process improvements
- Support others with related to information required for reporting or analysis work.
- Explore new data sources and design data model for to correlate the data to be ready for consumption.
- Develop Power BI dashboard to make information more timely for decision making.
- Improving data collection design, where necessary, for better supporting analysis work and dashboard consumption.
- Take ad-hoc required on data analytic request to facilitate on demand enquiries.
- Support in financial assessment (FA) for the new product launch, this including performing the market research, consumer behavior and competitive analysis
- Develop Power BI to help on speedy analysis on market / business trending
- Ad-hoc projects and other duties as assigned from time to time
- Minimum 5-8 years of working experience in a similar role
- Strong commercial and business acumen, analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills.
- A good team player and self-starter with excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task and adapt rapidly to shifting priorities and dynamic environment.
- Able to articulate/understand data relationship with ERD diagram.
- Have a high threshold for ambiguity and maintain professional demeanor under pressure
- Strong analytical skills and pay attention on details
- Experience with dashboard development and data reporting, managing and maintaining business intelligence tools such as Power BI and Tableau
- Knowledge in telecommunication industry will be an added advantage.
