About the Company Procurement as a business service within DKI Group is expected to operate on the basis of policies and processes which have global/regional applicability, or which, to the extent variances exist from time to time, are - in principle - managed with a view to harmonisation as an achievable objective. As with all other DKI Group business functions, Procurement is expected to operate in full and continuous compliance with Group policy (including the Group Statement of Business Principles) and in accordance with all relevant laws and regulations in such jurisdictions as are relevant. About the Role Regional Procurement Coordinator manage and coordinate procurement activities across multiple countries or locations within a region, ensuring cost-effective, timely, and compliant purchasing of goods and services to support operational needs. Responsibilities Recommend, and participate in: the development of procurement strategies and procedures; integration of procurement - as a mission-critical business process - within DKI Group ISO-certified QA system. Monitor and assist in supply chain planning and operation. Promote, design and implement workflow that supports the aggregation of procurement requirements at affiliate and - where appropriate - Group level, to facilitate maximisation of volume procurement benefits. Contribute to the development of Group Procurement management policy and guidelines On the basis of appropriate and effective negotiation, facilitate vendor relationships for the benefit of DKI Group. Without intending to otherwise limit the manner in which DKI assesses the effectiveness of the incumbent's performance against this KRA, it is expected that among the key assessment criteria will be: effectiveness with which DKI Group distinguishes vendor relationships it expects to manage as 'strategic' and / or 'partnering' in nature (and over a given timeframe) and distinguishing the appropriate characteristics of these relationships (from DKI Group point of view) and how best to optimise each relationship for Group benefit. Fitness-for-purpose of DKI Group's initial and periodic vendor assessment processes. effectiveness of conducting negotiations with vendors, in both establishing new relationships and in performance-managing existing relationships effectiveness of applying risk management principles in DKI Group's vendor relationships, including but not limited to risk of procurement concentration Champion procurement planning within DKI Group, and promote and implement procurement planning at operational level. Monitor competence of peers and colleagues in this regard, recommending training where appropriate (in context of documented skill/competence matrices covering procurement roles), and providing mentoring to subordinates. Ensure DKI Group procurement actions, insofar as the incumbent is instrumental in implementing such actions and in circumstances where on a reasonable interpretation incumbent ought to have had knowledge of such actions, are carried out in accordance with DKI Group management policies including but not limited to policies which deal specifically with procurement as a business process. According to the requirements of each regional business, and guidance provided by Executive management from time to time, deliver procurement services either: directly to a given region/LOB [1] or to a given region/LOB in a supporting capacity. Manage and execute procurement related functions (contract management, sourcing strategies, draft and manage contracts). Subject to nature of engagement with a given regional business, manage procurement of subcontractor services, including but not limited to managing tenders (subject to Group guidelines), reviewing proposals, developing performance specifications. Where appropriate, review and develop global supply contracts - ensuring Group corporate goals are met in terms of quality, delivery time, requirements, scope, warranty and cost. Coaching and training of local and regional staff who have procurement and/or logistics accountabilities. Exercise custodianship over competency matrix that apply to such roles, and support local and regional management in promoting training and guidance to enhance productivity and improve skills. Qualifications Education details not specified. Required Skills Making decision and problem solving - Analyse vendor capabilities and organize and monitor supply chain operation and resolve issues. Analyse and collate vital business information, develop recommended supplier list and review existing and new vendors, inventory stock level control. Effective communication with regional stakeholders (internal and external) - Ability to communicate clear and concise information with all stakeholders. Ability to organise, plan and prioritise work - i.e. Process Purchase Order for long lead items, developing global procurement plan, and etc. Financial Acumen - Ability to apply broad understanding of financial management principles and quantitate information to ensure decisions are fiscally responsible. Documenting/recording of information relevant to the appropriate standards, supply contracts, client's requirements and internal stakeholders project requirements. Negotiation skills, ability to persuade, influence and explore positions and alternatives to reach outcomes that will gain acceptance of all parties. Wide engineering knowledge and understanding of goods purchase - i.e. Cables, pumps, IT equipment, steel, and etc. Result focused - Ability and drive to achieve continuous improvement of procurement process.
