About the Role Support the Compliance Governance and Advisory (CGA) Department in delivering effective advisory, oversight, and governance, with a strong focus on Anti-Bribery and Corruption (AB&C) compliance. This role is critical in ensuring that bribery and corruption risks are promptly identified, effectively managed, and mitigated in a timely manner. The role will provide strategic compliance advisory to key Business Units-including Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, and Treasury-as well as other relevant stakeholders across the Bank. This includes supporting the implementation of regulatory change requirements and managing regulatory information requests from authorities. Additionally, the role involves promoting a strong culture of integrity and compliance throughout the Bank, safeguarding against non-compliance with regulatory and AB&C obligations. You will also assist the Head of CGA in planning, managing, and executing the Bank's overall regulatory and AB&C compliance strategy, ensuring alignment with business growth objectives in a safe and sound manner. What will you do: Manage the CGA & Integrity Unit to execute assigned tasks and deliverables including staff's training and professional development. Identify areas requiring attention/strengthening and recommend changes or improvements in line with industry standards and applicable regulations regarding regulatory compliance and AB&C-related matters. Liaise with regulators and government agencies on compliance matters (i.e. focusing on regulatory compliance and AB&C-related matters). Work collaboratively with the relevant departments on regulatory compliance and AB&C-related matters to ensure; timely implementation of the regulatory requirements or any changes thereof; timely and accurate regulatory reporting or any changes thereof; and timely changes to systems in compliance with regulatory requirements or any changes thereof Provide advice to relevant departments on regulatory compliance and AB&C-related matters to obtain regulatory approvals (whichever applicable) Monitor and ensure timely reporting to regulators. Maintain and monitor Regulatory Inventory and prepare monthly and ad-hoc management reports pertaining to regulatory compliance and AB&C related matters Carried out any ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Head of CGA or CCIO. Assist Head of CGA to perform and complete the compliance risk assessment, including bribery & corruption and any other compliance assessment assigned. Contribute to the ongoing Compliance transformation initiative Maintain oversight on regulatory non-compliance incidences and monitor remedial actions taken. Maintain and ensure that regulatory compliance and AB&C-related policies and procedure are up-to-date in line with the latest Group and applicable local legal and regulatory requirements. Assess changes to policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the latest regulatory compliance and AB&C related matters' rules and regulations. Prepare governance papers, reports and MI as assigned by the Head of CGA or Chief Compliance & Integrity Officer regarding regulatory compliance and AB&C-related matters. Always ensure strict confidentiality of information. Ensure all records are properly and securely maintained and up to date in the database. Skills, certifications and experience you possess: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education level. Possess at least 12 years banking experience and minimum 5 years working experience in Regulatory Compliance. Possess Professional Certificates in Compliance or related field (i.e. Regulatory Compliance certification) and Possess certification as Certified Integrity Officer (CeIO) will be an added advantage. Good knowledge and understanding in banking laws and regulations (in particular regulatory compliance and AB&C topics). Good knowledge in banking products, services and operations. Proactive, self-initiative, independent, adaptable and good analytical skills. Good in report writing. Ability to objectively analyze/interpret information/data and exercise good judgement and make recommendation in relation to regulatory requirements.
