- Assess the opportunities and challenges related to funding facing the business, including an examination of emerging technologies and commercially available products, and effectively communicate the business impact to senior management.
- Drive access and strategy development and execution of formulary listing in government sector for new products and new indications of in-line products
- Drive strategy and execution to optimise access in private sector as well.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and communicate economic value messages that promote the adoption of products.
- Tender management and stakeholder management
- Monitor policy developments of the products.
- Establish relationships in key markets with government officials, physicians, hospitals, and third-party payer decision-makers.
- Foster and maintain a work environment of continuous improvement that aligns with Quality Policy, Quality System, and relevant regulations.
- Participate in government affairs and policymaker discussion to shape favourable environment for company's product and market expansion
- Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, life science and related subjects.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant Market Access, Sales and/or Marketing experience in pharmaceutical industry.
- A detailed understanding of the commercial principles underpinning the pharmaceutical market.
- Good knowledge of the Health Systems / policy and Market Access/Government affairs in Malaysia
- Strong communication, analytical and negotiation skills.
