Assistant Manager, Business Intelligence

• Enhance, refine or repurpose existing in-house data warehouse ETL process (SQL & SSIS), reporting platforms (SAP Business Intelligence Business Object) , analytics tools (Power BI).
• Design, develop and implement innovative analytics reports based on business stakeholder requirements.
• Manage reporting issues and tickets reported by stakeholders by identifying the potential root cause and able to coordinate and communicate with different parties to get the issues resolved.
• Gather stakeholder requirements, translate into Business Requirements & Functional Requirements Documents, and transform into System Design Documents.
• Able to lead a team for local and global analytics projects.
• Assist lead in managing and tracking projects progress.
• Provide 1st level user support for global analytics and 2nd level support for local analytics.
• Proactively in upholding excellent service by closely monitor and track incidents tickets resolution time.
• Maintain a professional and proactive approach in meeting stakeholder needs and expectations as to achieve maximum customer satisfaction.
• Create and plan internal & external BI reporting tools training course for stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree in computing/Information Technology or equivalent

• Must have at least 5 or more years of working experiences & proficient in Microsoft SQL data warehouse, BI Reporting tools (SAP Business Object business intelligent & Power BI), Visual Studio (Integration Services) and data analytics and visualization.
• Demonstrate visual design skills used to create information-dense and easy-to-understand reports/dashboards. Must exhibits intuitive and insightful information.
• Demonstrate relational database and star schema design and implementation skills.
• Demonstrate experience in the designing and implementation of business intelligence tools (eg. Local Business Data Warehouse (SQL), SAP Business Objects and Power BI) with performance-tuning of business intelligence systems.
• Be abreast of the latest technologies and technological opportunities especially on Business Analytics and Intelligence. · Must be a good proactive leader while also an independent, and disciplined team player.
