Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Head of Delivery Solutions (Pre-sales) located in Kuala Lumpur. The individual in this role will be responsible for leading pre-sales activities, including solution architecture, consulting, and team management. Daily tasks will involve working closely with clients, developing tailored IT solutions, and managing a team to ensure the successful delivery of services. The role requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and sales acumen to drive business growth and meet client expectations. Main Responsibilities Leading and Mentoring: Leading a team of pre-sales solution consultants. Solution Development: Working with the sales team to understand client needs and developing tailored, innovative, and commercially viable technical solutions. Presentations and Proposals: Creating and delivering high-impact presentations, proposals, and demonstrations to clients. The goal is to showcase the value and feasibility of the proposed solutions. Technical Advising: Acting as a key technical advisor during the sales process and addressing client questions and concerns. Collaboration : Collaborating with delivery and engineering teams to ensure that proposed solutions are realistic, scalable, and align with company capabilities. Knowledge Management: Maintaining a deep understanding of the company&aposs products, services, and the competitive landscape. Process Improvement: Contributing to the continuous improvement of the pre-sales process and tools. Negotiations : Participating in client negotiations and contract discussions as the technical lead Qualifications Bachelor&aposs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master's degree. Proven experience (typically 10+ years) in a pre-sales, solutions architecture, or a similar customer-facing technical role. Demonstrable experience in a leadership or management position. Strong track record of successfully closing large and complex deals. Experience in a relevant industry such as IT consulting, software services, or technology solutions. Solid understanding of project management methodologies is an added advantage. Practical knowledge in project management methodologies, such as Waterfall, Agile, and Kanban. Advisory skills including ability to analyse, trouble-shoot, support, challenge and advise other project and program managers. Interpersonal skills and relationship management, including ability to engage, communicate with, influence and negotiate with senior management and stakeholders Team management.
