- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to team members in both the Compliance and Corporate Secretarial departments, ensuring consistent quality, productivity, and professional development.
- Actively contribute to departmental planning and performance through participation in monthly management and strategy meetings, driving improvements and meeting organizational KPIs.
- Oversee task allocation, workload balancing, and deadline management to ensure efficient operations and client satisfaction.
- Stay abreast of changes in relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., Companies Act 2016, SC Malaysia guidelines, Bursa Malaysia requirements), and proactively communicate and implement necessary changes within the team.
- Build an.d maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as the primary contact person for key accounts to ensure service excellence, manage issues, and identify business growth opportunities.
- Monitor the performance of portfolio leaders, ensuring alignment with company goals, service standards, and compliance expectations.
- Undertake strategic or operational ad-hoc assignments or projects as required by senior leadership.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Corporate Administration, Business, or related discipline.
- ICSA/MAICSA qualification is required; being a Licensed Company Secretary is highly preferred.
- At least 8–12 years of experience in corporate secretarial practice, with a minimum of 3–5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Strong working knowledge of Companies Act 2016, MBRS, MyCoID, Listing Requirements, and other statutory regulations.
- Proven experience managing teams and a large portfolio of clients (including international and public-listed entities).
