Your Role in VT Markets As our Senior Global Payroll Specialist, you will report to the Compensation and Benefits Manager and be based in Kuala Lumpur, serving as the central hub for payroll management across our global footprint. You will work closely with regional HR teams, finance department, and consolidate payroll into a global payroll provider to ensure seamless payroll operations across all VT Markets entities. This role is critical in supporting our rapid growth globally, ensuring accurate and timely compensation delivery while maintaining compliance across multiple jurisdictions. Your Responsibilities Global Payroll Consolidation & Management Consolidate and manage end-to-end payroll processing and relevant employee tax fillings for multiple countries and entities. Coordinate with global payroll provider to ensure local labor laws compliance, tax regulations, accurate data transmission and processing. Maintain payroll calendars and ensure timely processing across different time zones and regulatory requirements. Commission Computation Calculate monthly commission payouts for sales teams, IBs, and affiliate partners based on performance metrics. Collaborate with C&B Manager and finance teams to validate commission structures and payment accuracy. Resolve commission discrepancies and communicate adjustments to relevant stakeholders. Prepare and submit mandatory payroll reports and filings as required by local authorities. HR Data & Innovation Stewardship Lead data management initiatives to ensure accurate, consistent, and accessible employee information across all modules. Develop and maintain key HR analytics dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision making for leadership teams. Optimize HRIS functionality and implement system enhancements that support organizational growth in collaboration with IT and HR teams. Lead AI adoption and technology capability building within VT Markets to drive productivity and HR value-proposition. What Success Looks Like Operational Excellence: Achieve 100% accuracy in payroll processing with zero late payments across all global entities, while continuously improving process efficiency and reducing manual touchpoints. Stakeholder Satisfaction: Maintain high satisfaction scores from regional HR teams and employees through responsive support, clear communication, and proactive resolution of payroll inquiries. People Data & Technology Advancement: Successfully implement tech-first solutions to significantly improve HR productivity and data analytics capability. What Makes You a Great Fit Job Experience & Education Bachelor&aposs degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field. Minimum 4 - 6 years of experience in multi-country payroll processing, preferably in financial services or multi-national corporations. Preferred experience working consolidating in-house multi-country payroll and outsourcing to global payroll vendor. Technical and Functional Skills Strong proficiency in payroll software systems, HRIS platforms, and advanced Excel functions (Power BI preferred). Strong fundamental knowledge of international payroll regulations, tax compliance, and statutory requirements across multiple jurisdictions. Experience in commission calculations and incentive compensation management. Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with global teams and external vendors. Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple deadlines, and adapt to changing regulatory requirement.
