Job Description :Job Purpose:To support the management and growth of the Key Account business in Malaysia by implementing Strategic Customer Planning and fostering strong trade relationships to achieve the company’s objectives.Responsibilities:
  • Apply a “Strategic Key Account Management” approach in managing customer relationships.
  • Negotiate national contracts aligned with both the company’s commercial policies and client objectives.
  • Oversee the implementation of agreements and monitor related investments.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within customer organizations.
  • Manage the Profit and Loss (P&L) for assigned accounts.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with buyers.
  • Coordinate the execution of agreements and promotional activities with the sales team.
  • Develop tailored business plans for each assigned key customer.
  • Create monthly promotion plans and review customer performance on a monthly and yearly basis, including cumulative sales, market and category trends, promotion design, measurement tools, and evaluation of promotional effectiveness.
  • Possess a deep understanding of key account retail sales strategies and operational frameworks to formulate account strategies, set goals and budget constraints, and identify opportunities for business collaboration.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 3 years in Key Account Management.
  • Proficient in both verbal and written communication in English.
  • Experience in the FMCG industry is an added advantage.
