MAIN SCOPE: To guide, directing financial and control activities of the Corporation in a manner designed to protect the stakeholders assets, meet reporting requirements, provide timely, meaningful reporting of Company operations and effectively plan for and audit the financial needs of the firm. Direct the company's Treasury, Controller and Financial Services functions in providing staff support services to operating groups. Participate in planning and controlling corporate growth and evaluating performance against objectives. JOB DUTIES: To provide for sound and timely managerial decisions and controls througH provision of evaluated financial operational data and information to management. Provision of adequate capital to meet current and future needs through development of an economical capital structure. To minimize tax liabilities through planning, researching, executing and defending all federal, state, local and foreign taxes applicable to the corporation. To conserve and facilitates the growth of the Company's financial and capital resources through the development and implementation of sound financial, accounting and management information systems and procedures. To stimulate and development of a disciplined planning process throughout the corporation and its various divisions by providing on going planning systems and procedures and by offering constructive critique to planning efforts completed. To organize and motivate an organization capable of achieving the objective inherent in the finance and control function and assure the continuity of management is provided for through development of the staff. To contribute to the development of corporate growth by providing advice and counsel to the company's key executives on the financial impact of their strategic and tactical decisions.
