Job Responsibility Repair, maintain and install machines, tools and equipment for continuous production. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to avoid unscheduled downtime. Inspect facilities and equipment regularly for problems and perform necessary maintenance. Handle routine building maintenance such as structural repairs. Develop and implement maintenance strategies for optimal equipment performance. Maintain documentation and records for operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement. Create a weekly maintenance schedule and allocate work. Record daily machine maintenance and cleaning activities. Supervise and train operators in basic machine maintenance. Perform CIL and other activities to extend equipment life. Assist in tracking and updating key plant metrics. Manage inventory and order tools related to operations. Liaise with suppliers, contractors and regulatory officials for inspections and compliance. Supervise contractors for maintenance and monitor the validity of fire extinguishers. Ensure that all maintenance activities consider safety, food safety and energy/water consumption. Manage maintenance budgets and identify cost savings opportunities. Control the cost of machine breakdowns and collaborate in solving problems in a team. Complete routine tasks and handle other assigned duties as needed. Job Requirements Must have at least a Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical or other relevant discipline. Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a technical field, preferably in food manufacturing. Knowledge of GMP, Safety and Health will be an added advantage. Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Excellent presentation, communication, problem solving, interpersonal and time management skills. A valuable team player and able to work independently. Extensive knowledge in electronics/electrical, general maintenance services, machine troubleshooting, general plumbing (plumbing), and good experience in repairing/operating air conditioners, refrigerators or refrigeration systems will be a plus. Knowledge of computers with good command of written and spoken English and Malay. Confident, proactive, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Job Benifits EPF & Socso Annual Leave
