Responsible for assisting the Senior Manager to implement appropriate work processes in relation to the provision of business reviews and monitoring of Agency’s strategic priorities and initiatives.Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the work processes in relation to Business Planning, Performance Management and Data Analytics while collaborating closely with relevant stakeholders on the monitoring of key business strategies & initiatives of the Agency Distribution.
  • Accurate and timely provision of analyses, reports and presentations for all the management meetings, such as Monthly Business Review & Planning Meetings, Monthly Agency Distribution Business Performance Meetings, Quarterly Business Performance Reviews, EXCO Meetings, etc. Perform reasonableness checks as appropriate.
  • Provide regular updates and insights of key business metrics to the senior management particularly on the sales and recruitment initiatives in order to support performance management.
  • Support the development and delivery of Annual Business Plan, identify and understand key business drivers while providing insights of the drivers to the senior management to drive business decisions along with implementation plans.
  • Participate in various company-wide business initiatives as required. Follow-up-and-follow-through any actions needed to ensure smooth implementation of strategies and initiatives and ensure timely delivery of key milestones of the implementation plans.
  • Automate analyses and reports to optimize and streamline work processes.
  • Provide support and advice to address queries from regional leads/ agency leaders/ agents where necessary. Ensure information provided is accurate, sufficiently detailed to the audience intended and addresses issues at hand.
  • Roles and responsibilities are not limited to the list above and may include ad-hoc tasks that may arise from time to time.
Job Specification:QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Actuarial Science or any other related fieldExperienceMinimum 3 years of relevant working experienceKnowledge
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to connect the dots.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to communicate with the team, internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to articulate strategies in the form of business presentations.
  • Has a good command of written and spoken English.
  • Self-motivated and able to work under minimum supervision always.
  • Demonstrates high willingness to learn and go beyond status quo.
  • Works well under pressure, and a good team player.
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word & Microsoft Excel.
  • Proficient in Power BI or willingness to learn and adopt Power BI.
