- Analyze training needs: Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to understand training requirements, target audience, and desired learning outcomes.
- Develop diverse training materials: Craft engaging and effective training content in various formats, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training materials, user manuals, job aids, presentations, videos, and simulations.
- Write clear and concise instructions: Ensure content is easy to understand, follow, and apply in real-world scenarios.
- Incorporate adult learning principles: Apply knowledge of adult learning principles to ensure effective knowledge retention and skill development.
- Integrate appropriate multimedia elements: Utilize visuals, audio, and interactive elements to enhance engagement and understanding.
- Plan and manage training content development projects: Define timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and quality control measures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work with instructional designers, graphic designers, developers, and SMEs to ensure seamless content creation and delivery.
- Conduct pilot testing and gather feedback: Evaluate the effectiveness of training materials through pilot testing and incorporate feedback for improvement.
- Maintain and update existing training content: Ensure materials stay current with evolving technology, processes, and regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in education, instructional design, communication, or a related field (often preferred).
- Strong writing and editing skills with a clear and concise writing style.
- Ability to research and assimilate complex information from various sources.
- Knowledge of instructional design principles and theories like adult learning principles.
- Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools and learning management systems (LMS).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with SMEs, stakeholders, and other team members.
- Previous experience in training and development or a related field is highly desirable.
- Experience with specific e-learning authoring tools and LMS systems may be required.
- Experience working with diverse audiences is a plus.
- Strong in soft skills and leadership training
- Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and authoring tools: Familiarity with tools like Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Rise.com, and Moodle is often preferred.
- Basic understanding of instructional design principles: Knowledge of Andragogy, ADDIE model, and other instructional design frameworks can be advantageous.
- Strong writing and editing skills: Excellent command of grammar, syntax, and clarity is essential for writing engaging and informative content.
- Multimedia skills (optional): Experience with video editing, graphic design, or audio production can be a bonus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and SMEs.
- Strong organizational and time management skills: Efficiently manage projects within deadlines and budgets.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills: Ability to develop innovative solutions for complex training needs.
