- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the coatings and pigments industry, including potential customers, distributors, and key accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and maximise repeat business.
- Understand customer needs, requirements, and industry trends to provide tailored solutions and effectively communicate the value proposition of our products.
- Conduct product presentations, technical demonstrations, and trials to highlight the benefits and features.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including technical and marketing departments, to develop customised solutions and support the customer's requirements.
- Monitor market conditions, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify potential threats and opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals to achieve sales targets.
- Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback to the sales manager or relevant stakeholders.
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to expand the company's visibility and identify new business prospects.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales and business development within the coatings or pigments industry.
- Strong understanding of coatings and pigments, including their applications, technical specifications, and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively convey technical information to customers.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in English and Chinese (both written and verbal).
