Job SummaryThis position is responsible for the administrative duties of the Career & Professional Development Centre (CPDC) such as facilitating students’ internship placement, coordination of all training programmes prior to internship, organizing Industry Day and Career Events sessions, keeping of student placement records, and administration of job portal.1. Internship Management
  • Coordination of Internship process for students going for internship. Liaison person for students, faculty members, and employers such as arrangement of internship visits &presentations
  • Establish good industry relations, and coordinate feedback from the industry partners.
  • Internship process improvement.
2. Upkeep of Internship and Training Database
  • Upkeeping of student placement records in various industries, ensuring information is readily accessible.
  • Upkeeping of student training records on internship preparation courses
  • Update reports for each the internship batch.
3. Management of the Career Management Portal.
  • Administration of the above, managing employers’ accounts, job posting, students’ application, and students’ resume portal.
  • Implement new initiatives in the portal.
4. Event Management
  • Coordination and Planning of University Events, such as Industry Day, Career Talk & etc.
5. Training Programme Management
  • Market training programmes to employers, coordinate in-house or external training Programmes.
  • Upkeeping of training records for all short courses in the university.
6. Any other duties assigned by immediate superiorQualification/Requirement:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related discipline
  • Experienced in Training Programme Management, Event Management, Database and System Management
  • Must have strong interpersonal and coordination skills.
