Our client is a prominent engineering and construction firm headquartered in Malaysia and they are on the lookout for a Welding Engineer to be based in Bintulu, Sarawak for their latest Oil & Gas project.

- Leading and managing welding projects.
- Assessing engineering designs to determine welding needs.
- Supervising a team of welders.
- Offering training and mentorship to welding personnel to improve their skills, understanding, and expertise in welding methods and procedures.
- Creating and reviewing welding procedures, processes, and documentation.
- Performing failure analysis and root cause analysis on welding-related problems.
- Formulating repair procedures and evaluating defects to determine the structural fitness of components.
- Administering welder qualification tests.
- 3.2 CSWIP or 3.1 CSWIP with 9 years Welding Engineer experience
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma/Skills Certificate in Material Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or any related field.
- Local Sarawakians will be preferred as a work permit is required for Non-Sarawakians.
