The General Manager will assume pivotal leadership role within the organization, spearheading both business and manufacturing operations to drive the team towards the attainment of annual targets. Through strategic guidance and effective management, the GM will orchestrate cohesive efforts across departments, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation and collaboration.

P&L management
Provide leadership for the team, developing and executing organization's long term vision and strategic plans
Accelerating business growth through innovative market expansion strategies and optimizing manufacturing efficiency to enhance both top-line and bottom-line performance
Provide strong leadership and direction to the management team and staff and foster a culture of collaboration, innovation and accountability to drive employee engagement and performance
Oversee day-to-day operations and strive for efficiency and quality whilst complying to regulation standards
Streamline processes to optimize productivity and minimize costs
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market share and increase revenue streams.
Identify and mitigate potential risks to the business and implement strategies to ensure business continuity

Opportunity to shape and define business strategy in a leadership role|Senior Leadership positionAs this is a senior leadership position in the business, you should possess the below but not limiting to:

More than 5 years in managing P&L for a business in the manufacturing industry, preferably from the chemicals manufacturing industry with strong business acumen
Proven experience in building and managing a team successfully with mature and strong leadership capabilities
Entrepreneurial and commercially driven with strategy
Established track record of reviewing, developing and defining strategies to support business growth
Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of industry trends, market dynamics and competitive landscape
Proficiency in financial management, budgeting and forecasting
Factory management or supply chain experience
