To evaluate the credit worthiness of GM’s fixed income portfolio.
To undertake risk assessment analysis of borrowers. This involves gathering and analyzing financial and credit information to assesses the credit worthiness of current and potential borrowers.
To conduct periodic credit and AMLA review of borrowers.
To conduct ESG assessments of borrowers.
To champion GM’s ESG initiatives.
To prepare and submit credit reports in a timely manner.
To present findings of annual reviews and ad hoc credit evaluations, at relevant investment committee meetings.
To update procedural manuals for credit assessments.
To keep GM’s bond credit exposures within set risk parameters and help management draw up business goals.
To work with FIGLC sales, to build engagement with bond clients in the areas of credit insights and sharing of views. This shall include presentations, preparation of thematic pieces and any ad hoc client request.
