Job Responsibility To prepare Project Quality Plan (PQP), Master Works Programmer and periodical detail programmer for site activities, upon award of contract. (PQP) To prepare the site organization chart for the approval of the director. Assist in monitoring and control of project work plans and follow-up on individual team member s status. Outline & brief the Project Team on site planning (temporary works site layout) and monitoring overall project implementation. To arrange manpower planning. To attend site meeting and prepare progress report. To handle incoming and outgoing correspondence pertaining to the project. To liaise with the Client and Sub-contractors. To liaise and maintain the good relationship with local authorities on project development status and updates. To follow up with any local authorities submission. To maintain the good relationship with community surrounding project. To monitor and control the project cost provided by the Contract Department. To plan and discuss with Site team for deployment of plant and machinery throughout the construction period. To update any construction drawing and variation orders information to the Contract Department and Site Office. To inform Contract team on back charges to Sub-Contractor as well as any cost incurred in demolition or rectification due to bad workmanship of the Sub-Contractor. To review Sub-Contractor s agreement and ensure that the terms and conditions stipulated are adhered to. To ensure that the Architect s Instruction (AI), Engineer s Instruction (EI), Variation Order (Addition/Omission) or Verbal Instruction (followed by confirmation of verbal instruction form) are complied with and extend the same to the Contract Department. AI EI / To control quality of work and wastage at site. To oversee overall activities throughout project planning, execution and completion. To provide technical support to client s representative and site team. To review monthly reports and develop remedial measures if necessary. To manage time and cost to achieve optimum results for both the Clients and the Management. To maintain a high standard of safety and health on project sites. To ensure prompt submission, certificate and collection of claims. Obtaining maintenance defect lists upon completion of projects and ensuring IT is carried out. To verify and check site staff s attendance, site staffs overtime claim, Kong Cards, sub-contractors progress claims, material requisition, monthly progress claims, site diary and its contents. To verify and check the status of works against planned schedule, budget and etc for site audit purpose. To ensure the ISO 9001 QMS systems procedures are implemented on the projects. ISO 9001 QMS Perform any other project duties as assigned by the superior. Job Requirements Site based position with 6 working days 6 Minimum 5 years experience in Civil / Building Engineering works. 5 / Excellent leadership and management quality with good coordination, organizing and planning skills. Aggressive, analytical, systematic, solution oriented and ability to work under pressure. Able to lead, inspire and motivate other, in project team. Details oriented, computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Project / Project Management software.
