About the role The role of a Boiler Technician involves the safe operation and maintenance of boilers, leading projects to enhance efficiency, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Boilermen must report any hazards promptly, record essential data for monitoring purposes, and be prepared to work in 12-hour shifts to maintain continuous boiler operations. Key responsibilities Ensure safe operation of the boiler in compliance with Factory & Machinery Act requirements. Perform and support maintenance of boiler steam. Develop and validate analytical test methods for boiler mechanical machinery maintenance. Conduct maintenance on utilities boiler machinery. Lead modification projects related to boiler steam systems. Immediately report any unsafe acts that could lead to boiler malfunction or damage. Maintain cleanliness and safety of the boiler work area. Record all required parameters for checking and verification by management and JKKP Officer. Prepare and execute necessary maintenance work for boiler inspection by the machinery department. Record boiler chemical consumption and report stock levels to the immediate superior. Monitor daily gas consumption and provide feedback to superiors. Fulfill any other tasks and assignments directed by superiors and management. Qualifications and skills Minimum educational attainment of Secondary School/SPM (preferably Science stream)/Diploma or equivalent. Possess a valid JKKP registered Boilerman Grade 1 certificate. Have 3-5 years of experience in a related field. Ability to work in 12-hour shift rotations. Beware of scams online or from individuals claiming to represent us.
