- Lead monthly business review meeting with various stakeholders, preparing and presenting financial performance, to highlight key performance metrics and financial trends.
- Provide insightful analysis and interpretation of variances, against budget and forecast, providing recommendations for improvement.
- Effectively communicate financial insights and recommendations to Department Heads, by providing insightful analysis, identify required action items, area of improvement and effectively frame decisions to be made.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization.
- Dive deeply into financial data and become a subject matter expert to provide additional insights.
- Lead the financial planning and analysis process for support services.
- Prepare quarterly financial forecasting to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, supporting proactive decision-making for the organization's financial health.
- Participate in the budgeting process, ensuring alignment with organizational strategies and stakeholders’ expectations.
- Advise finance department and stakeholders through research, analysis, and experience to develop business and financial insights and recommendations that will drive end to end profitability improvement and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
- Collaborate with Finance Operation (WWH Reporting & Control and Finance Shared Service Centre) for governance of corporate compliance policy/ guidelines, corporate secretarial practices etc. Advise the businesses on matters of financial compliance and governance.
- Regularly review and enhance the financial planning process based on feedback, changing business needs, and industry best practices.
- Build and enhance relationships within the organization to help drive business performance outcomes and forecast quality improvements. Ensure we have appropriate accountability in the right areas.
- Be a process and risk champion to review business and financial operating processes, recommend alternative practices and processes. Drive positive change in process and procedure for better operational efficiency and quality.
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis to assist with business decisions.
- Support in ad-hoc tasks as required.
- Higher education with Accounting/ Business Administration/ Finance/ Economics.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Self-motivated, excellent interpersonal and communication skills and able to work independently are a must as this role will work closely with different departments to ensure company alignment from a financial perspective.
- A team player with the capability to work independently when needed.
- Good written and spoken English.
