Supply Chain Manager - Manufacturing (Ipoh)

• This role oversees warehouse management, logistics management, and planning activities.
• This role will be reporting to local Plant Manager.

• Leading the development of the Supply Chain Management Team and overseeing Supply Chain Management for either a production site or distribution center. This encompasses order management, customer satisfaction, materials management, production planning, physical logistics, and trade compliance.
• Executing process analyses and projects within the SCM organization to continuously improve cost-effectiveness, delivery performance, and inventory optimization.
• Collaborating with regional and Group SCM teams to implement standards.
• Monitoring all SCM processes and reporting on KPIs.
• Working closely with sales, purchasing, production, and staff.
• Optimizing delivery and supply relationships with internal and external partners.
• Ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations, including health and safety protocols, trade compliance rules, and company policies.
• Providing support, particularly in physical logistics.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Several years of experience in supply chain management within manufacturing.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and production planning.
• Leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams effectively.
• Experience optimizing supply chain processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements in manufacturing.
• Leadership qualities to motivate and inspire teams.
