Stage Picture:brenntag_logistics_8.jpgJobTitle:Director, Site & Inventory Optimization BES APACLocation:Shah Alam/MalaysiaEmployment Type:ArbeitnehmerDirector, Site & Inventory Optimization BES APACOur team in Shah Alam currently has an opening for a Director, Site & Inventory Optimization BES APACYOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIESJob Summary:This role is to provide leadership and direction at regional level on site and inventory-related performance management, controlling, and capability building - acting as docking-point and interface between COE and regions, which required strong leadership, analytical skills, and strategic thinking to drive continuous improvement initiatives and enhance operational performance with the alignment with BES business strategies.Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and oversee site operations and inventory management strategies across the APAC region to optimize production efficiency and inventory levels.
Develop and facilitate the implementation of regional site optimization plans at country & local level to improve operational performance, reduce costs, and increase productivity.
Oversee and provide guidance on country & local site location selection aligned with business needs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, supply chain, logistics, and finance to ensure the site operations meet overall business objectives.
Analyze local & country production data, inventory levels, and supply chain processes to identify areas for improvement and implement optimization initiatives across the region.
Monitor and evaluate site performance metrics, identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, and implement corrective actions across the region.
Lead inventory optimization efforts, including demand forecasting, inventory planning, and stock level optimization to meet customer demand while minimizing inventory holding costs.
Develop and implement inventory management policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, optimize resource utilization, and enhance operational effectiveness. * Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to site operations teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements to drive innovation and maintain competitiveness in the market. Share best practices among the countries.

YOUR PROFILEEducation: Bachelor's degree and/or above, major in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or other Sciences; Six Sigma Green Belt Project Leader Certification is preferred; CPIM is preferredExperience: Minimum 10 years of professional experience in (industrial/chemical) distribution sector, Supply Chain management including strong experience in given In-depth knowledge and experience in transportation and logistics industry in APAC region.Others:

Excellent communication and coordination skills, able to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders at all levels, and cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to make decisions based on data and business needs.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and collaborate with teams across different geographies.
Proficiency in inventory management software, ERP systems, such as ECC, APO and Microsoft Office.
Good command of English communication skills, fluency in Chinese would be considered a plus.

Must be flexible to travel when required to fulfill needs of the business.
