Head of Sales, Sarawak - Phosphate, Chemicals

• Head sales and marketing function involving product sales, contract negotiations, distribution and in some cases, logistics
• Lead corporate engagements with stakeholders, in particular government agencies, state electricity provider, financial institutions
• Preparation / review of board papers on strategy, project updates, financial and human resource related matters;
• Oversee raw material sourcing strategy including evaluation of sources, cost implications, suitability of specifications against plant design, negotiation on pricing and contract terms with suppliers;
• Able to source for commodities (Rock Phosphates) from vendors internationally and extensive experience in international trading activities
• To comply with company Safety Policy and Procedures

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Public Relations or Engineering
• Minimum ten (10) years' working experience preferably in a large corporation within the chemicals industry
• Experience in commodities trading, sourcing suppliers and export markets.
• Excellent command in English (written & spoken), and good command of Mandarin will be an advantage
• Stakeholder relations / multi-stakeholder coordination working knowledge and experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Working experience in a chemical plant is an added advantage.
