» STPM or Diploma / Degree or with at least 4-5 years working practice in Purchasing.
» Possess strong leadership abilities qualities including business acumen, adaptcapability, efficiency as well as analytical, strategic and effective communication expertise.
» Able to do budgeting and cost controlling for the best benefit of the company.
» practice in raw material purchasing will be an advantage.
» Possess a good organizational and inter-personal skill.
» Possess strong analytical and time management.
» Computer literate and good communication / written skill in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
» expertiseable in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standard requirements.
» expertiseable and practiced in conducting internal audits for QEMS.
» Able to work under pressure.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
» Leadthe purchasing/planning section in ensuring optimum purchases at best price and efficient supply chain management to meet production requirement.
» To ensure that purchases are delivered as per conditions agreed upon to ensure smooth factory operations.
» Monitor and review the performance of suppliers and vendors.
» Approve and review the price list of direct and indirect materials, finish products, hardware tools and others.
» Stock control on direct and indirect materials, finish products, hardware tools and others.
» Sourcing new materials and new suppliers with lower price and as per R&D request.
» Procurement process owner responsible for the entire purchase process including posting of DO & Invoices.
» Responsible for retail signboard installations.
» Preparation and maintenance of Quality Environmental Management System documents for ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 standard requirements.
» Ensure that adequate planning is carried out in order to maintain and improve the effectiveness of the QEMS and attainment of QEMS Objectives.
» Provide information and problem solving to the subordinate.
» Responsible in decision making and problems solving for the department.
» Carry out any other responsibilities delegated by the General Manager and above.
