Assistant Production Manager (Chemical)

• Assist Production Manager in planning, organizing, and coordinating production schedules.
• Monitor daily production activities and ensure adherence to production plans and quality standards.
• Provide leadership and guidance to production staff, including training and performance management.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
• Work closely with Quality Control department to maintain product quality and consistency.
• Manage inventory levels to optimize stock availability and minimize waste.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on production metrics.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and resolve issues.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong technical knowledge of production processes, equipment, and materials, preferably in the plastics industry.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
• Solid understanding of safety regulations and best practices, with experience in implementing safety programs.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate across departments and levels of the organization.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite and experience with production management software preferred.
